One of my friends introduced me to Face Your Pockets, a collection of wacky images featuring people with all the things they carry around with them in bags or in their pocket. So on my lunchbreak, I scanned my face surrounded by my stuff:
- camera, Canon SD 100IS
(so I'm ready when the UFO lands) - pencil
(with extra eraser because the paltry erasers on pencils are NEVER enough and I need to make my to-do lists/calendar items eraseable.) - pen
(for when I write in the diary I keep in my car.) - eyeglasses cleaner
(recent addition, I used to not use this until I realized I scratched my old glasses mercilessly by constantly rubbing them on my clothes.) - Listerine pocketpack, cinnamon
(all the other flavors are nasty) - CD
(Dave Matthews, Under the Table and Dreaming) - wallet
(contains $8, credit cards, supermarket card, license, receipts) - nickel
(This, plus money above... I'm rich, bitch!) - hand cream, Neutrogena Norwegian formula
(The only stuff that keeps my hands soft and supple all winter long.) - SD card (backup) for camera, 4GB; camera already has one in it ready to go.
- USB adapter for camera's SD cards.
(so whenever I take pix, I can immediately transfer them on my computer.) - cell phone, Samsung SGH-C17
(yeah it's old but I love it anyway) - coupon for free toothpaste, expired yesterday
(story of my life) - nail file
(I can't stand jagged nails, must deal with breakage right away.) - keys
- lipstick
- flash drive, 2GB
- comb
(not as good as a brush but takes up less space and hey, I need something to rake through my hair once in a while during the day.)
And here's my friend, C:
So what've you got carrying around with you?
