This is kindof a "wow" moment. Last year I was lamenting that I wanted to start writing more but had no cozy place to do it. I used the lack of a spot as an excuse to not write at all. So I made a New Year's resolution to create a cozy corner for myself and here I am using it. Yay!

It's kindof a half-assed creation. I bought a bench online to save money but it was way too narrow and hard for my fat ass. So I jammed a bunch of boxes behind it (widening the sitting area) and overlayed an egg-crate cushion to make up for the hard mean top. Then I covered the whole mess with a blanket, lined the back with pillows and shoved the whole thing in the bedroom corner. And so my writing nook was born.

Of course most people might have just bought one nice chair and be done with it... not me, I have to do everything the hard way. But at least I'm using it!
