Bollywood actress Preity Zinta received lots of bad publicity for playing loud music on her 34th birthday, undermining the fact that she is a blessing to many lives. She seemed to be happier this time around than the previous years. But why? She has every reason to celebrate because she gifted herself a special birthday gift – 34 orphans.
Yes, Preity made her birthday special by adopting 34 orphans from Mother Miracle School, Hrishikesh. She said that she felt blessed to have them and that they have welcomed her into their lives. She is now going to provide food, clothes, shelter and education to these 34 unprivileged girls. She also promised that she would adopt a couple more on every birthday.

Angelina Jolie needs to be careful if she wins her second Academy Award this year (09), after misplacing the first statuette she received at the prestigious ceremony.
The actress has been nominated for a Best Actress prize for her performance in Changeling and will go up against Anne Hathaway, Kate Winslet, Melissa Leo and Meryl Streep in the category on the 22 February.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen has posed in just tiny pants in a photo shoot for Elle magazine to support Aids charity appeal (Red).

Money is generated through the charity’’s partners, who design and sell specific products and contribute a share of the profits to invest in African Aids programmes.
